Sam Drury's Self Supporting Shelf
Posted on May 18, 2010 in Furniture:

Brutally simple, Sam Drury's Self Supporting Shelf is so simple and clever we're amazed nobody else thought it up first. A telescoping metal shelf, the shelf locks into place, and uses the weight of what's put on top of it to put pressure on the studs using a cantilever system. Impossibly clever.
