Cassetti has an MA in Illustration from Syracuse University and is currently working on her MFA in Illustraion at Hartford Art School. Although this is a proposed collection of valentines, there is a dark side to Cassetti’s work. Even in her color pieces, there is a sort of eerie grotesqueness surrounding the illustrated figures.
