Nottage Design Glass Pool Tables
Posted on January 18, 2010 in Industrial Design:

Nottage Design billiard tables blend ultra modern styling with new technology. Australian Craig Nottage, creates glass playing surfaces in a re-interpretation of the classic pool table he calls G-1 and G-4. Nottage covered the toughened glass tops with Vitrik. The specialized Vitrik surface creates a ‘floating on air’ effect allowing the balls to glide smoothly and quietly while replicating the same rolling resistance of a traditional felt table. Unlike traditional felt, which undergoes wear and tear, a Vitrik surface will retain the same roll characteristics over its lifetime.
