Brian Harsanto
August 12th, 2009
Brian Harsanto is a 29 year old graphic artist who has been in the game for almost 6 years, and has been working with several independent magazines publishing in Bandung, Indonesia whilst also publishing a free fashion magazine called Dibz. When not handling the daily grind in the publishing business, Harsanto is building a toy company called My Tummy Toys along with a few friends. He has a character, to be made from resin, that will debut at the Singapore Toys, Games and Comic Convention during August 2009.

This is the original ‘Beat Up Boxer’ character that I produced about a year ago. It depicts my own life experience and slowly transformed into a figure. It’s fun, yet has a dark and gloomy background story.

This is a series of paintings that I’m currently working on. It’s about the life of the ‘Beat Up Boxer’ and I’ll produce a series of 5 paintings.

At last, After 4-5 months of hardwork with Dira the sculptor, the toys are finally ready for release. The Boxer is unleashed. It is made from resin and will be in a very limited amount of production piece. Only 70 pieces in each colorway.

To make the artwork more available and affordable for all people. I created limited edition Giclee print series. This is the first one in the series.

I’m currently working on a series of skateboard graphics for Infekta Co. Wait for the update on these…
