Team Juco is a collaborative photography team with Julia Galdo and Cody Cloud. Cody was born in Phoenix Arizona and has his Masters in Photography. He’s been living and working in Los Angeles for the last five years. Julia was born and raised in Miami, Florida and lives in sunny Santa Monica with Cody. They met at the San Francisco Art Institute in 2002. Julia moved to Los Angeles from San Francisco in 2009 to join forces with Cody officially. Their work has been published in Nylon, TOKION, Alarm, Death and Taxes, Spin, and Latina to name a few. My name is Assaf Friedman and I’m a self taught photographer based in Toronto. It was about 3 years ago when I saw my first HDR picture. I fell in love with it and had to learn for myself. I ran out and purchased a good camera and through trial and error found a style that I liked. HDR imagery has more meaning then what meets the eye. I love the way an HDR picture captures the colours, lights and moment. (more…)

Matt Barnes is nothing more than a voyeur. Sat in the corner, he surveys all before figuring out the best way to add his perverse twist to anything left open to his lewd persuasion. Clad in chambray, he stands, taking one last drag of a cigarillo before it’s stomped to a smolder by his gator boot. Photographer Jorge Peniche, a native of Los Angeles, CA, embarked on his photographic journey in 2006 by shooting photographs for hip-hop heavyweight The Game. Having been put in the fast lane by working with an artist of Game’s caliber, Peniche acted swiftly and capitalized on the opportunity to work with the iconic hip-hop MC as well as with other well-established figures in the industry. In the years since then, Peniche’s photography has evolved and has grown exponentially. Peniche’s multi-faceted personality becomes apparent through his entrepreneurial spirit and lineage of work within photography as well as within entertainment projects. (more…)
