Yis ‘Nose Go’ Goodwin is a Philadelphia-based artist with a passion for illustration and multi-media arts. He uses a mixed media style to deliver highly energetic work. His designs feature an assemblage of patterns, vibrant colors and characters derived from his imagination, and his surrounding environment. Nose holds a B.F.A. in Film and Digital Video from the University of the Arts. Nose’s work is about just having fun, and often takes a silly approach when it comes to delivering an image. If anything is supposed to be taken from his work it’s to just enjoy yourself and have fun. Read the rest of this entry »

After studying fine art at SDSU I have worked for Virgin Interactive designing video games, taught multimedia at Platt College, and worked at LPL Financial Services as a Marketing Director. In 2007 I left the corporate world to become a full time artist. I have a studio in downtown San Diego where I’m currently working on a comic graphic novel and will be presenting it at the 2010 Comic-Con. My influences are Japanese Woodblock art from the 18th century, artists like Kuniyoshi and Hokusai. I work in mixed media, ranging from acrylics, pencil and ink on wood, canvas and watercolor paper.
