After a hectic day’s schedule, one wants nothing but the soothing environment to relax in, right? Aequorin by Satoru Tokuhisa is a bio-feedback chair that like your cozy snug makes sure to lower you’re your stress but in a really different manner. Based on the user’s stress level, the chair is surrounded with the colored veil. Let me explain you how! After the long day in the office when you reach home, you can record your stress value as log data by using a pulse beat sensor on the ear lobe and original applications on iPodTouch. Each day after you’re back home, you upload the log data to server via iPodTouch, and the system projects the timecode of your stressed feeling thereby display how stressed you are on the side of the chair. What happens then is that the system projects the color to veil around the chair during playing the log data. The color selection can be made via iPodTouch. These re-experience of stress giving the bio-feedback effect helps manage it. Pretty inventive!
