Spice Pots from Himalayan Trading Post
Posted on March 15, 2010 in Interior Design:

It’s hard to imagine a more rustic, spiritually infused candle than these Wooden Spice Pots from Himalayan Trading Post. The company, which is based in Georgia, works with the villagers of a small town in Northern India where these pieces are hand carved out of mango wood. In the distance as the villagers work, the Himalayas rise in a purple haze – what an image! Mango wood is a sustainable, fast growing resource indigenous to south Asia, where it’s raised in orchards as a crop.
